Email is the only channel: hello@howtostartavegetablegarden.com
There is no contact form on purpose — forms mean spam handling and a third-party script on every page, and neither improves the site.
What is genuinely useful to send
Corrections. If a number here is wrong, or it contradicts your state extension service, that is the most valuable mail we get. Include the page and, if you have it, the source — extension service pages are ideal.
Local reality checks. If a planting window on your zone page does not match what actually works where you live, say so and name your county. Zone averages are blunt instruments and local correction makes the pages better.
Guide requests. If you looked for something here and it was not covered, tell us. Requests directly shape which page gets written next.
What will not get a reply
Link and guest-post offers. We do not publish guest posts, exchange links, or sell placements.
Diagnosing a specific plant from scratch. We cannot reliably tell you what is wrong with your tomato from a description — and your county cooperative extension office runs a free service staffed by people who can, using local pest and disease knowledge. Find yours by searching “cooperative extension” plus your county name. Many run master gardener helplines.
Response time
This is a small site run by one person. Expect a few days, sometimes a couple of weeks. Corrections get read even when they do not get a reply, and the page usually changes.
